John, we recently wrapped up our “Working Class First” tour, and I want to tell you all about it:
From Las Vegas to Elko, I met with Nevadans from every corner of our state — at roundtables, meet-and-greets, and community-led small businesses. I was grateful to have the chance to hear from folks directly and share my vision for a Nevada we can all afford.
One thing is clear: The Lombardo-Trump economy is failing us. Costs are rising, hardworking families are being squeezed, and there’s no relief in sight. Gov. Lombardo is Nevada’s biggest roadblock to affordability — and that’s why I’m in this race to unseat him.
Our first stop on the tour was at AFL-CIO in Henderson. Dozens of folks told me how hard it is to find a good-paying job in this economy.
In Gardnerville, Nevadans are being crushed under the rising cost of living. They feel like they’re being ignored — and they’re right.
In Carson City, I heard stories about how grocery bills have skyrocketed over the past year. It’s been a top priority of mine to crack down on price-fixing of essential goods as Attorney General, and it will continue to be a top priority as Governor.
I sat down with local business owners and neighbors at Telegraph Coffee in Fallon to discuss what’s breaking the bank and how we can strengthen our local economies.
In West Wendover, I made a stop at Plaza Furniture, a family business now poised to close its doors because Trump tariffs are driving up costs.
Every stop on our “Working Class First” tour reminded me why I’m running: Nevadans want a Governor who shows up, listens, and takes their concerns seriously — not just when it’s convenient, but every single day and in every community.
Supporters like you make tours like this possible, and I can’t thank you enough for being on my team.
