It's Thanksgiving week, which means Black Friday is just around the corner — but this year, we need to do things a little differently.
Since taking office for the second time, Trump has gone off the deep end into the dark abyss of fascistic authoritarianism, and Corporate America has made it very clear they are willing and eager collaborators. That's why Indivisible's activists are organizing a mass Black Friday boycott against three of the biggest offenders: Amazon, Target, and Home Depot.
Home Depot allows ICE to kidnap people from its stores; Target caved to bigots and got rid of all of its Pride merch, and Amazon provides critical data infrastructure that ICE needs to run its operations. With the biggest shopping day of the year approaching, it’s the perfect opportunity to make our disapproval known.
Instead of shopping at the big box stores, why not try shopping at the Minocqua Marketplace, a Wisconsin-based “collective” of ONLY Blue-owned anti-Trump small businesses? They have a wide variety of interesting stuff ranging from regular gifts and household items to clever protest merch and things like “Woke Coffee” and “Gulf of MEXICO Mexican Lager.” It’s the perfect way to shop and feel good about it AND they donate a portion of proceeds to Wisconsin anti-Trump organizations!
Join us in boycotting Amazon, Target, and Home Deport and let them hear loud and clear:
