Folks -- The candidate declaration and signature
gathering phase of the Rhode Island primary has wrapped up, and
it's official:

David will be on the ballot seeking re-election in the First
District - and two other candidates are hoping to replace him in
November.

With the race set, we need to pick up our fundraising numbers

With our opponents set, we have to raise the money to expand our
volunteer base, fully fund our paid communications strategy, and
educate voters about new vote-by-mail procedures to ensure they
vote safely and confidently!

And with this likely to be a mostly virtual campaign season, we
must have the resources to transfer campaign operations online -
an expense we could not have predicted when we outlined a budget
at the beginning of the year!

To accomplish all this in just a few short months, we set strict
goals to hold ourselves accountable - and the first one ends at
