The ultra MAGA extremist caucus just lost one of its loudest members: Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that she is resigning from Congress in January.
With MTG gone, now is our moment to fire another one of the absolute worst people to ever serve in the U.S. Congress: Lauren Boebert.
MTG’s resignation shows that when the odds are stacked against them, the loudest MAGA voices in the room get real quiet real fast. These people are cowards, and cowards run away from a fair fight when they see that they might lose.
And now, it’s Lauren Boebert’s turn.
Boebert is only in Congress because of 546 votes. In 2024 when labor leader Trisha Calvarese and Lauren Boebert faced off, Trisha had the best performance a Democrat has ever had in this district, overperforming Kamala Harris by 6 pts whereas Boebert massively underperformed Trump in every county.
Trisha outraised Boebert 5:1 in the most recent FEC report. Boebert’s campaign is practically broke and she is ready to throw in the towel—but it’s on us to turn up the heat to show her that if she insists on running again, Trisha will beat her next November.
If we work hard enough and post massive fundraising numbers, there’s a good chance that Boebert will see the writing on the wall and do like MTG: resign early or retire before the election.
