Moving Ahead with Budget 2025

While Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives tried to block our plan, Budget 2025 passed the House, and Mark Carney and our Liberal team are now moving forward to build our economy, protect our communities and empower Canadians with lower costs and new opportunities.

We’re spending less on government operations so we can invest more on key priorities like:

- Housing: to lower costs and create opportunities for Canadians.
- Infrastructure: to make sure communities have what’s needed to grow and thrive.
- Defense and security: boosting front-line law enforcement to protect communities, and reinvesting in the Canadian Armed Forces to protect our sovereignty.
- Productivity and competitiveness: to strengthen Canada’s resilience and make us a leader in innovation.
