Trump posts wild AI pics of Democrats in jail

Donald Trump's week-long crash out over a video made by a group of Democrats asking the military to refuse illegal — keyword here being ILLEGAL — orders from the Trump administration continued on Sunday night with the president posting an AI video showing those Democrats in jail. Accompanying the video were several QAnon propaganda images saying things like "REMEMBER YOUR OATH" and "TIME TO OBLITERATE THE DEEP STATE." Sure, Trump is putting his raging insecurity on display for the entire nation to see, but he's also endangering the lives of military veteran lawmakers who are simply reminding America's armed forces that they are constitutionally obligated to OBEY THE LAW. Weren't we all supposed to dial down the incendiary rhetoric in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination? Why is the commander-in-chief putting Democratic members of Congress in direct danger? Oh, right. Fascism.

Jasmine Crockett torches Marjorie Taylor Greene's shock resignation

Democratic. Rep. Jasmine Crockett has exactly no time for performative sympathy or fake tears for her Republican colleague Marjorie Taylor Greene, after the far-right firebrand shocked the political world by announcing her imminent resignation from Congress, citing unchecked hate and acrimony in DC for her departure. Greene attracted the raging ire of Donald Trump and much of MAGA after steadfastly refusing to stand down on the release of the infamous Epstein files. Despite years of unquestioned loyalty to the MAGA cult leader, Greene was given no grace, for she committed the most cardinal of sins: putting the well-being of literally anyone else ahead of Trump. Just days after Congress successfully forced the release of the Epstein files, Greene had clearly had enough, vowing, "I refuse to be a 'battered wife' hoping it all goes away and gets better." Speaking with CNN's Jake Tapper, Crockett explained, "I was like, you've got to be kidding me. You're on the other side of the president for one week and you can't take the heat? Imagine what it is to sit in my shoes — to not only be on the opposite side of him, but to have people like her who are constantly fanning the flames of hate..." It's more than a fair point, and a searing reminder just how malignant a force MAGA has become in American politics.

Trump's cruelty leaves millions in Thanksgiving bind

The shutdown may finally be over, but the financial pain that so many American families felt from going for weeks without food stamps or paychecks is still very real. Still more American families are reeling from sky-high prices from Trump’s tariffs or have lost their jobs as Corporate America fires workers by the tens of thousands. That's why the No Kid Hungry nonprofit is organizing a Friendsgiving fundraising drive to get the community involved and help make sure people get the food they need. Will you step up and help feed American kids in need?

DOGE has officially been DOGE’d — Trump administration confirms department no longer exists
The Department of Government Efficiency quietly passed away earlier this month to little fanfare after a bombastic arrival on January 20, 2025. More homewrecker than family man, DOGE was born to doting parents Donald J. Trump and Elon Reeve Musk in Washington, DC, and quickly became the talk of the town before acrimony and narcissism drove its daddies apart. Adrift without any real parental figure to nurture and guide it, DOGE spent the last few months of its catastrophic life meandering in political purgatory, like so many dubious crusades which passed before. DOGE was preceded in death by numerous federal aid programs, none more consequential than USAID. Reports suggest DOGE's cuts to world health programs have led to as many as 600,000 preventable deaths, mostly children, not to mention the gainful employment of several hundred thousand dedicated public servants due to mass federal workforce layoffs. DOGE is survived by its estranged fathers, a malignant political cult movement without modern parallel, and a completely servile and morally bankrupt Republican Party. A celebration of life service shall not be held. In lieu of flowers, please send a blue wave of progressive leaders to Congress next fall and any donations you can muster to Doctors Without Borders, UNICEF, the UN Refugee Agency, the World Food Programme, Oxfam, Save the Children, Mercy Corps, the International Rescue Committee (IRC), or any number of other noble aid organizations fighting tooth and nail on behalf of the hungry, the sick, the innocent, and the poor.

Trump set to propose framework to "fix" Obamacare subsidies
It's been over a decade and Republicans still don't have anything close to a real plan to deal with the national healthcare crisis, but they are at least understanding that there is some urgency to do SOMETHING before the ACA subsidies expire at the end of the year. In typical Republican fashion, Trump's — or, rather, his staffers, he's definitely not involved in any of this — solution is: make it worse! Donald's plan would end zero-premium plans for the poorest Americans in order to fight imaginary fraud and then incentivize middle-class Americans to take WORSE healthcare coverage in exchange for nominal health savings accounts (HSAs). Completely absurd, insulting to everyone involved, and does nothing to actually address the problem of insane greed by multi-billion-dollar health insurance companies.

Ex-White House lawyer calls Trump "evil," issues major warning

Ty Cobb, the former Trump lawyer with a mustache that belongs in an 1860s saloon, sounded the alarm about the MAGA cult leader's increasingly unhinged behavior during an appearance on MS NOW's "The Weekend." Trump "dictates everything," House Speaker Mike Johnson does, Cobb argued. "That’s tragic because the way the Constitution is designed, Congress, not the courts, were deemed to be the first wave of resistance to an evil president. The courts don't have the ability to say what’s best for America. They can't look at a case that way," he explained. "They have to say what does the Constitution require, and the Constitution really is not adequate to deal with a president as evil as Trump is, somebody whose desire is to accumulate and abuse power." By "denigrating the judiciary, Trump is basically trying to weaken one of the only remaining pillars that is standing up to prevent the total authoritarianism that he desires," Cobb said. "And that war is very dangerous for us all. We need a very strong judiciary, particularly at this time, where the constitutional stresses are extreme and Trump’s abuses of power are unprecedented." So far, the judiciary has been curbing the wannabe dictator's worst excesses, but how long they'll be able to keep that up remains to be seen.

Trump grumbles over "inherited" Russia-Ukraine war in delusional social media post
Donald Trump took to Truth Social to moan about having to deal with the Russia-Ukraine war, which very inconveniently forces him to do something resembling work and talk to people he doesn't want to talk to. "You don't start a war against someone 20 times your size and then hope that people give you some missiles," said Trump, blaming Ukraine for getting invaded by another country and blaming Joe Biden for not solving it before he returned to office. "There would be no Ukraine/Russia War, as there wasn't, not even a mention, during my first Term in Office!" Okay, grandpa. Please hand over the keys to the country.

Mamdani stands by Trump criticism despite friendly White House meeting
Trump's charm offensive in the Oval Office didn't change New York mayor-elect's opinions of the man, as he made very clear in a new interview. "Everything that I've said in the past, I continue to believe," Mamdani said. "And that’s the thing that I think is important in our politics, is that we don't shy away from where we have disagreements, but we understand what it is that brings us to that table, because I'm not coming into the Oval Office to make a point or make a stand. I’m coming in there to deliver for New Yorkers." Mamdani's principles and conviction are likely what appealed to Trump in the first place; must be a refreshing change from the sycophantic bootlickers and obsequious yes-men that surround him on a daily basis.

Trump proclaims Republicans are more united than ever with "lowlifes" like Marjorie Taylor Greene out of the way
So true! In fact, Mr. President, you should definitely keep bullying all your Republican critics to the point of resignation. Must be unified!
