When I looked to see why South Carolina hasn’t done the same, I was shocked to learn that South Carolina has no law similar to the one in Texas that allows the Governor to protect its citizens.
That’s a gross oversight, and that’s why I’m immediately calling on the General Assembly to pass legislation to give the governor authority to classify dangerous organizations as terrorist organizations, just like Texas has.
When radical groups threaten our people, our leaders must have the power to act.
I’m fighting to make sure South Carolina can defend itself, but I can’t do it without your support.
Will you stand with me and chip in $5, $10, or $25 to help our campaign?
