As Co-Chair of the Financial Literacy and Wealth Creation Caucus, I will continue fighting to expand access to financial guidance and give every family the tools they need to make smart financial decisions.
I am proud to introduce a resolution alongside my Co-Chair Rep. Beatty to designate October as National Financial Planning Month! Financial education helps Americans budget, save, invest, and plan for a secure future.
My family lived the horrors of communism firsthand in Korea.
I refuse to let Zohran Mamdani and the far left peddle communism-lite here.
I’ll always fight for the capitalist, free-market system that allowed my family—and many like mine—to achieve their American Dream.
The American people deserve transparency. This week, I voted to release the Epstein files and deliver on what survivors have been asking for.
I’ll keep fighting to protect women and end human trafficking in all forms.
Our first responders deserve every tool available to save lives, protect property, and keep our communities safe.
I introduced a bill to allow private entities to partner with federal agencies so proven wildfire technologies can get on the ground faster.
Congratulations to Senator Seyarto and his team on this year's successful Veterans Expo! I'm grateful for the incredible community support of our veterans, and I'm proud to serve those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
This week I joined the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies’ end-of-year briefing to highlight my work to support small businesses, strengthen public safety, expand financial literacy, and improve healthcare access.
As a proud Korean American, I’ll keep fighting to protect our families and ensure our voices are heard.

I met with the Riverside County Transportation Commission and the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority to push forward federal support for major regional projects that ease traffic and strengthen infrastructure.
I’m committed to delivering real mobility improvements and moving Riverside County forward.
I chaired a joint hearing on Burma’s crisis, the junta’s sham elections, and the severe barriers to delivering aid. I will continue to stand with the Burmese people and support their fight for freedom and democracy.
My Washington, D.C. office is accepting internship applications through December 31, 2025 for the Spring 2026 term. Interns gain hands-on experience in the legislative process—assisting with constituent services, researching policy, drafting correspondence, and attending hearings.
Applicants should be enrolled in college with a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong writing skills. Preference is given to CA-40 residents, but all applicants are welcome. Interns receive a monthly stipend and are responsible for housing and transportation. Learn more and apply at youngkim.house.gov.
Sincerely,
Young Kim
