Dear Friends,
This week, Democrats responded to the calls from the American people – particularly from women – to release the Epstein Files and to continue to insist on a vote to extend the Affordable Care Act premium credits. As we predicted before the election, California voters showed up overwhelmingly to pass Prop 50 and demonstrated the largest gender gap that Donald Trump has ever seen as a check on his authoritarianism and refusal to be silenced.

Rather than listen to women, however, Donald Trump insulted us once again. With a callous disregard for the victims and survivors who came forward to demand the truth in the Epstein Files, with a degrading “quiet, piggy” insult to an accomplished female reporter, and with the ongoing dismissal of women in leadership – expect those who agree with him and do his bidding without question – Trump further debased himself and the office of the presidency. But women will not be silenced. Despite those who demean and diminish women, the truth is that nothing is more wholesome than the increased participation of women in politics and in every sphere. Women: know your power and show your power. Take up the mantle of leadership, confident that you are ready!
We observed Transgender Awareness Week and Transgender Day of Remembrance on Thursday, November 20th. Democrats know our diversity is our strength and our unity, our power. So we join in solidarity with the transgender community against the rise in transphobia, including in the dangerous rhetoric from other members of Congress and harmful policies advanced by this Administration. Additionally, we know that inflammatory and dehumanizing language leads to violence. No elected official or public servant should use their platforms to demonize and scapegoat any marginalized community, including the transgender community.

Tuesday was Native Women’s Equal Pay Day. As we honor Native American Heritage this month, we draw special attention to the shameful fact that, on average, Native American women earn only 55 cents for every $1 a white man makes. Despite generations of injustice and persecution, America's Tribal Nations have bravely served our country with honor and distinction, making us safer and stronger. Whether through their political activism, their military service or their cultural heritage, the inspiring legacies of generations of tribal cultures make the rich fabric of American society all the more beautiful. To honor that vibrant heritage and history, we must insist on and fight for justice for all and America must uphold all legal and moral obligations to Tribal Nations and communities.

On the heels of our tremendous grassroots-led victories on Nov. 4th, our phone banks are up and running again [[link removed]] to keep reminding vulnerable Republican House Members that they can run, but they can’t hide from accountability to their own voters — we aren’t going anywhere!
The stakes for the 2026 midterms could not be higher, we must win the House. Over the next year of organizing to win back our House Majority, we must all recognize that apathy is our greatest threat but it’s a threat that we will overcome together. And when, not if, Democrats win the House, we will save the country that we love from further damage. Together, we will honor our Constitution and work to deliver a brighter future for our country that honors the vision of our founders, the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform and the dreams and aspirations of our children.
