Shoulder MRIs may present faulty or inaccurate information of how significant a shoulder surgery is and how much pain it is generating. In our many years experience, we have found that when MRI is the sole governing tool relied upon by doctors to recommend treatment, a patient will often be sent to a surgery with a shoulder that is not that bad.
