*2024 Individual and Business Income Tax Forms and Instructions*
The Minnesota Department of Revenue has updated forms and instructions for tax year 2024. The updated forms and instructions will allow the reporting of nonconformity adjustments relating to the 2025 Federal Tax and Budget Reconciliation Bill (H.R. 1) that was enacted in July.
The final 2024 Minnesota individual and business income tax forms are available on our website [ [link removed] ].
We will begin accepting original, and amended, paper returns for 2024 on January 14, 2026. Original electronic returns will be accepted at the same time the IRS begins accepting electronic returns.
*Software Vendors*
Software vendors can submit one courtesy copy for forms already approved last year. Software vendors will need to submit three samples for the new forms added this year before preparing paper returns for clients.
We will not be requiring recertification for electronic filing. Software venders may use ATS for testing their products.
