Hi John,
As the weather gets colder, I know an increased utility bill is on your mind. And, if you’re using “natural” gas (aka methane), you’ll see an even higher bill this winter with NW Natural’s most recent rate hike [[link removed]] . But, did you know that methane poses many other threats to us, besides just our wallets? Join OLCV and Building Resilience for a community event on Wednesday, December 10th to hear all about the dangers of methane in our communities! [[link removed]]
Warn Your Neighbor About Methane Community Event
WHEN: Wednesday, December 10th from 5:00 - 6:00 pm PT
WHERE: via Zoom
RSVP here! [[link removed]]
Just because we call methane “natural” gas doesn’t mean it’s safe. It poses great impacts on our air quality, public health, environment, and cost of living. To keep our community safe from further harm from “natural” gas, we need to make the switch to clean energy sources, like solar and wind. That starts with educating our communities on what methane really is and the risks of using it!
I hope you’ll join us for this educational community event, where we will discuss the dangers of methane gas on our health and environment, and answer any questions you may have, so you can become an important educator for your neighbors and community members.
Your conversations with others can truly make all the difference. It starts with us — so RSVP to join us on Wednesday, December 10th! [[link removed]]
See you there,
