 Hey friend, It's Don Davis. I wanted to take a moment to share some of the important work we are doing for eastern North Carolina. Here’s a recap of what I’ve been up to recently:
I’ve spent a lot of time talking to workers, families, and all people in my district to spread the message that no matter the map, my focus continues to be on advocating for real solutions that improve the lives of people in eastern North Carolina.
I’ve also talked to healthcare professionals about the importance of reopening the government and prioritizing keeping community health centers funded. Our community health centers play a vital role in delivering healthcare to communities across eastern NC, and I will continue to deliver funds that keep our hardworking families healthy.
Finally, I talked to constituents about the importance of reliable flood insurance and protection. Our communities are still struggling from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and flooding, and I’ll continue to do everything I can to support relief. It’s been busy, friend, but the work we’re doing is making a real impact on the lives of people in this district.
