Listen, hun. I know I’m biased. I am Haley’s mom ♥️. But she is still AMAZING!
Can I go full mom-mode for a minute and brag about my Haley? Because I truly believe she’s the perfect person to represent Michigan in the Senate. 👏
Yes, Haley is an accomplished Congresswoman with more get-up-and-go than a ‘66 Mustang. But to me, she’s also the endlessly curious little girl who would read an entire book in an afternoon while wearing some goofy vintage bellbottoms. The one who would talk your ear off as she helped out with our family’s small landscaping business. The one who relentlessly asked big questions, dreamed big dreams to help her neighbors, and never, ever quit on anything. 💬📚

Even back then, I knew she was something special. But I never imagined she’d grow up to help save hundreds of thousands of Michigan jobs during the auto rescue in the Great Recession – or write laws that are helping to create good-paying jobs for our friends and neighbors.
Haley has literally changed so many people’s lives, and I’m just so dang proud.
But it’s not just what she’s done. It’s how she does it.
Haley shows up. She listens. She LOVES Michiganders. She works harder than anyone I know (and that’s saying something since I’ve been hanging out with landscapers since the ‘70s 💪🌳). And she fights for the things that matter – for working people, for women, for science and innovation, and for a future where families can afford to live and thrive.
We’ve got some people with big egos in politics these days (don’t get me started), but I think what we really need are public servants. People who will get up every day and ask, “What can I do for the people I love?” That’s Haley.
So, from one proud mom to all of you in this community: Thank you for believing in my daughter. She’s not doing this alone – and she’s not in for herself. She’s doing it with all of us. For all of us.
And if you see me out on the trail (I’ll be the one with the furry leopard print jacket!), come say hi! I’d love to meet you, give you a mom-hug, and brag even more about my girl! 💙
