Y’all, as an Organizing Director, you know I love to flip a seat.
In a state like Texas, where the GOP has worked so hard to suppress voters, it can be so hard to flip a red seat blue. But right now, up in Tarrant County, Dem candidate Taylor Rehmet has a chance to do it.
Taylor defied expectations on Election Day, but here’s the thing: he’s in a runoff slated for January 31st. We have just 70 days to get him the resources he needs to take this thing home, and we need your help to make it happen. (Greg Abbott delayed scheduling this runoff — but the game is now ON!)
The truth Greg Abbott knows as well as we do is this: every single seat counts. Especially when you’re building momentum going into a huge midterm cycle. Right now, we have a real chance to flip a seat blue and shape the story in Texas — and you can help.
There’s no time or dollars to waste when it comes to getting voters to the polls — especially when we have a chance to flip a seat! With 56 new monthly contributors, we’ll have the resources to invest in targeted, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, voter-by-voter GOTV for Taylor’s runoff in Tarrant County, and move right into primary work.

Tarrant County is a red district, but we have victory in our sights, and Taylor making it to a runoff gives us some serious hope that our organizing efforts are paying off. Let me show you some numbers that tell us we can really win this thing in January:

Every door we knock, every ad we run, every call we make moves us closer to flipping seats like this one. But it only happens if we fuel the work right now. Plain and simple: if we get more folks to the polls, we will win this seat. And we only have about 70 days to do it!
But friend, I can only get those voters out if we raise much-needed funds and sustain those funds throughout the race.
We’re trying to boost our monthly donors to help us prepare for this fight. Be one of the 56 new monthly contributors who help us power this runoff and build strength for 2026.
Thanks for being here, no matter how you choose to support us. Can’t wait to see you out there.
With gratitude,
Katy
