My fellow Starbucks baristas put their bodies on the line on Wednesday to send a clear message: We will not stop until Starbucks stops union-busting and bargains for a fair contract with us.

Workers blocked traffic to the largest Starbucks distribution center on the East Coast. Trucks were at a standstill. Business didn’t go on as usual. 

Our message to Starbucks and their CEO is simple: no contract, no coffee! Share our demands to make sure your friends and family don’t cross the picket line.

Starbucks knows where we stand. They know what it would take to finalize a contract and end the pickets and strikes. But instead, they’re doubling down — even as their reputation keeps sliding. 

I’ve been a barista for years, so I’m not surprised that even with a new CEO – who takes a private jet to work – the company is treating workers with such disrespect. 

None of us want to sit in the middle of the road to make our voices heard. But Starbucks forced our hand. And that’s what we’ll do until our demands are met:
