In my little town, to crib a lyric from Paul Simon, there is a brigade of teenagers running around with debit cards given to them by their parents.  The urchins never see the bills, so it’s a lark to buy $15 sandwiches and $14 smoothies. Maybe a latte chaser from Starbucks for dessert.   The indulgent adults simply pay the monthly bills, grateful their kids are not in the legalized pot store until age 18.  Of course, the debit card will cover that, too.
