Ever since the disastrous 2010 Citizen’s United decision that allowed dark money groups to spend millions on elections in complete secrecy, MAGA has been using a highly effective scheme to sabotage Democrats.

The scheme is simple—MAGA billionaires and Republican donors covertly fund candidates in Democratic primaries to defeat strong progressives who would pose a threat to Trump’s agenda and corporate interests in Congress. 

One of the primary organizations MAGA billionaires use for this scheme is AIPAC, the same organization that funneled Republican money into Democratic primaries to take down progressives like Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t bipartisanship, it's Republican meddling.

This is an existential crisis for Democrats and the skyrocketing unpopularity of the Democratic Party is directly correlated with MAGA’s interference in Democratic primaries.



One of the reasons I am running is because I believe the Democrats need to return to the roots of our party—a real opposition force to extremist right-wing ideology that fights tirelessly to improve the lives of working-people.



But I knew we’d likely have to take on dark money forces to win this race, and recently, our fears were confirmed: MAGA is trying to steal this deep blue seat.

MAGA billionaires have jumped into this race on behalf of their Trojan Horse candidate to try and prevent a strong Democrat like me from claiming the seat.

I’m running because Democrats deserve candidates who will fight for working people, not MAGA billionaires or corporate lobbyists. But to fight back, we need to show that this movement can’t be bought:
