New sewage map now live on our app

Ever wondered how much sewage is really being pumped into our seas and rivers? Now you can see all of it - anytime, anywhere. 💩

We’ve launched a brand new UK-wide sewage map on our Safer Seas & River Service app, showing over 17,000 monitored discharge pipes. You can check when and where sewage is being released, and exactly who’s responsible.

Whether you’re swimming in a loch, paddleboarding on a river, or surfing your local break, you deserve to know what’s in the water. It helps you make safer decisions - and gives us all powerful evidence in the fight to end sewage pollution. 👊

Simply open the app, head to the 'Sewage Data' tab, and zoom into your local spot.

Download or update the app

You’re invited: Online film premiere

Join us next week for the online premiere and live Q&A of the Thames Swim Against Sewage!

This powerful new film follows a team of Olympic and world-class swimmers on a non-stop, 200km relay down the River Thames – ending in Westminster’s backyard.

But this isn’t just about endurance. It exposes a failing water system and calls on those in power to do something about it.

Their message this year is don’t discount the ocean. A reminder that while the world slashes prices, the ocean shouldn’t pay the cost.
