COMMUNITY BEYOND CANCER TREATMENT

When the team at the Camarillo Family YMCA began offering the Livestrong at=
the YMCA survivor fitness program, they quickly realized something powerfu=
l: after 12 weeks together, participants weren=E2=80=99t ready for it to en=
d. =C2=A0
=C2=A0
To keep that sense of connection alive, they launched an alumni group calle=
d Living Stronger. The group meets monthly for activities like art therapy,=
watercolor, and group workouts, fostering physical, emotional, and social =
well-being. =E2=80=9CMy cancer and its side effects were lemons, but the Ca=
marillo Family YMCA, Livestrong, and Living Stronger helped me make lemonad=
