My jaw was on the floor watching Karen Bass’s recent interview. There’s only one word to describe her pitch to remain Mayor of Los Angeles: delusional.

Bass claimed she originally ran for Mayor to address affordability, saying:

“The most extreme example of the affordability crisis is street homelessness. There are 10,000 people on our streets that need to be housed… Democrats are addressing what we have done and what we will continue to do.”

“Continue to do”? Democrats created this crisis.

And if that were not enough, we now have shocking new details about Bass’s and Newsom’s incompetence during the LA wildfires. A new documentary shows both of them touring the Pacific Palisades with fire officials while residents watched their homes burn—rather than allowing firefighters to do their job.

From Biden, to Newsom, to Democrat-run Los Angeles, their tax-and-spend policies—and the staggering $25 billion spent on homelessness since 2019 to no avail—have directly fueled California’s affordability collapse and humanitarian disaster on our streets.

The revisionist history is painful to watch.

Meanwhile, Republicans in Washington are working to clean up the mess—passing policies that actually help working families. I’m fighting every day to lower the cost of living, reduce taxes, and keep our country safe.

But after Prop 50, my seat is now the most competitive in California. Democrats are going to throw everything they have at me. They’ve tried before—and I’ve beaten them before. I’ll do it again.
