Finally, one chamber of Congress is showing some backbone on tariffs and standing up to Trump.

The Senate voted to terminate Trump’s reckless tariffs on Brazilian imports. These tariffs have hurt American workers, farmers, and families, while damaging our economy.

Here in the House? Speaker Mike Johnson is blocking us from even holding a vote.

I introduced an amendment to last week’s government funding bill to repeal Trump’s tariffs that are driving up the price of everyday goods, but House Republicans refused to even bring it up for debate.

Our economy can’t wait while the House hides behind partisan rules. It’s time to end Speaker Johnson’s blockade and get back to work delivering for the American people.
