Hi John,
I’ve been so touched by how many of you wrote back saying you love café de
olla as much as I do. There’s something special about how a simple cup of
café de olla can make you feel rooted in family, in memory, in love for
where you come from. There’s no other word for it than transportive.
For me, every sip takes me back to my abuela’s kitchen. The smell of
cinnamon and piloncillo, the warmth of laughter, the sense that even when
the world feels heavy, we can still build community and joy together.
That’s what this campaign is all about: finding warmth, hope, and
connection in the middle of hard times.

when you donate before November 30th. Every $5 or $10 you give helps us
reach more voters and keep this people-powered movement strong.

Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for believing that
campaigns can be about care, culture, and connection, too.
Con cariño,
Angela 🤎
