Hey everyone,
When Maura and I launched the ambitious MassReconnect program more than two years ago, we knew investments in low- or no-cost public higher ed would have far-reaching impacts.
Now we have the numbers to prove it.
A first-of-its-kind report [[link removed]] shows that five years after graduation, graduates of Massachusetts public colleges or universities make $20,000 to $30,000 more per year.
As the first public higher ed grad in the Corner Office, this is personal for me and vital to our future.
Public higher ed grads stay in Massachusetts and make major contributions to our economy. Investing in their success is an investment in our state’s success.
Here in the #1 State for Education, Maura and I are going to continue to invest in programs that increase opportunities for our students and grow our skilled workforce. This is what leadership and delivering on our promises looks like.
Thanks for standing with us,
Kim
