Trump Signs Bill to Release Epstein Files

After both the House and the Senate passed the bill on Tuesday. Wall Street Journal: President Trump signed legislation authorizing the Justice Department to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, giving Attorney General Pam Bondi 30 days to make available unclassified documents related to the disgraced financier and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell….  Now, the focus shifts to the release of files that have the potential to raise new questions over Epstein’s high-profile friends and associates. More than 20,000 documents from Epstein’s estate were recently made public by Congress, some of which mentioned Trump, along with Rep. Stacey Plaskett, a Democrat representing the U.S. Virgin Islands and former Harvard University president Larry Summers, who has since stepped down from the OpenAI board and other public commitments. Summers was criticized for previously undisclosed correspondence between him and Epstein (WSJ).

Three Judge Panel in Texas Rejects Redistricting Plan; Dissenting Judge Decries: ‘Most blatant exercise of judicial activism that I have ever witnessed’
The redistricting battles are going to be key for control of the House after the 2026 election. John Sexton of Hot Air: Yesterday we learned that a three judge panel had ruled 2-1 that Texas would not be allowed to use newly drawn maps in the midterm elections…. Today, Circuit Court Judge Jerry E. Smith’s dissent is circulating and it opens by explaining that the other two judges decided not to wait on his dissent: “In summary, Judge Brown has issued a 160-page opinion without giving me any reasonable opportunity to respond….” It gets more biting as it goes on: Judge Brown could have saved himself and the readers a lot of time and effort by merely stating the following: I just don’t like what the Legislature did here…. In 37 years as a federal judge, I’ve served on hundreds of three-judge panels.  This is the most blatant exercise of judicial activism that I have ever witnessed” (Hot Air).

After Security Council Approves US-Backed Resolution on Gaza, Who Benefits?
The conventional wisdom has been that it has strengthened the U.N. The Media Line turned to Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel: Her assessment cuts directly against the perception that the Security Council has empowered the UN system. Instead, she argued, the opposite has occurred. “This is the United Nations Security Council taking responsibility out of the hands of the UN and handing it to Donald Trump,” she told The Media Line. Haskel insisted that the plan’s real authority lies not in New York but in the Peace Council chaired by President Trump, which the resolution establishes as the body overseeing Gaza’s transition and vetting its governance structures. Her critique of the UN is blunt and reflects years of Israeli frustration. “The UN has not been honest and not been neutral,” she said. “It amplified Hamas propaganda and blood libels.” For Haskel, the vote is not a moment of newfound multilateral goodwill; it is the UN acknowledging its own failure and “putting Trump in the driver’s seat” because no other actor can enforce the plan (Media Line).

Hamas Rejects Resolution Over Implementation of US-Backed Plan
Not a surprise, but still a notable development. Samuel Ben-Ur of the Long War Journal: Hamas officials rejected Resolution 2803 shortly after its passage, claiming that “assigning the international force with tasks and roles inside the Gaza Strip, including disarming the resistance, strips it of its neutrality, and turns it into a party to the conflict in favor of the occupation.” Hamas’s rejection of key clauses of the 20-point plan comes after Israeli reports that Hamas and affiliated groups have violated the terms of the first phase nearly 25 times since the ceasefire’s implementation on October 10…. If Hamas agrees to further phases, the terror group would be required to disarm. The Board of Peace approved by Resolution 2803 would be tasked with supervising a “technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee” that would run day-to-day operations in Gaza. The BOP would also create and oversee an International Stabilization Force that would “ensure the process of demilitarizing” Gaza, support “vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza,” and prevent Hamas’s rearmament (Long War Journal).

Mossad Helps Dismantle Hamas Terror Network in Europe
The terror plot looks to have been planned in Qatar or Turkey. Israel War Room: The network, dubbed the “Hamas Octopus” was establishing terror cells and weapons stockpiles for attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets. Israeli officials say there is evidence of direct involvement of senior Hamas terrorists in Doha. Links were also identified between the terror network and Hamas elements in Turkey (War Room). Times of Israel: The spy agency said in a statement that it carried out the investigation alongside European counterparts that resulted in the arrest of terror suspects and weapons stockpiles “intended for use by Hamas cells to harm innocent civilians on command.” Earlier this month, German police seized weapons and arrested a British man suspected of links to alleged Hamas members in Germany who are accused of plotting attacks on Jewish targets (Times of Israel).

Victims of Palisades Fire Bring Lawsuit Over Role of State Park Official in Blaze
California Governor Newsom has—time and again—tried to wash his hands over any and every aspect of the fire that consumed 37,000 acres, 16,000 structures while killing 12 people (ABC). Los Angeles Times: Attorneys working on behalf of Palisades residents have been trying to focus attention on California State Parks’ role in the Palisades fire. In a complaint filed last month, they allege the state agency did not do enough to monitor the Lachman burn scar in Topanga State Park and ensure the area was safe after firefighters said the fire was contained. Now, the plaintiff lawyers are alleging a state park official who arrived at the scene of the fire on Jan. 1 “directly interfered with LAFD’s mop up operations.” Alexander “Trey” Robertson, one of the attorneys who filed the complaint against the state, told The Times that a fire official up on the Lachman burn scar Jan. 1 alleged that a California State Parks representative told them “they couldn’t bring a bulldozer in to cut a line around the fire and they could not do mop-up with their hand tools, dig up around any native plant species.” “They basically put plants over people and wouldn’t let the firefighters attempt to fully mop up this fire” (Los Angeles Times).

New Report Exposes Muslim Brotherhood Plan to Infiltrate US
Those who have been tracking with the Muslim Brotherhood since 9/11 are certainly not surprised. It’s the rest of the nation that ought to be, need to be waking up. Fox News: A prominent global research center has released a comprehensive report on what it says is a multi-generational campaign by the Muslim Brotherhood to “transform Western society from within” and covertly infiltrate the United States. The 200-page report, released by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy on Wednesday, draws from internal Brotherhood documents, such as the “1982 Project” and “1991 Explanatory Memorandum” and makes the case that Western freedoms have been systematically leveraged to advance Islamist ideological goals as the group continues its five-decade plan to embed itself in the United States (Fox News). From the report itself: Tamkeen is one of the Brotherhood’s most important doctrines. It refers to a deliberate process of institutional entrenchment and empowerment. Rather than seeking immediate revolution, it calls for embedding Islamist influence within civil society, consolidating authority inside Muslim communities, and normalizing Islamist discourse in the wider public arena. Tamkeen is not simply a tactic of survival; it is a long-term program of transformation in which Islamist movements position themselves to shape the environment around them until they are sufficiently entrenched to advance their wider ideological objectives (ISGAP). Ward Clark: In other words: Inject a poison into America’s bloodstream, to devour it from within. Many of the actors, we should note, may well already be here – see Dearborn, Michigan….. This report assumes that the barbarians are already inside the city walls, and they may well be right (RedState).

Protestors, Counter-Protesters Square Off in Dearborn, Michigan
At the center of the dispute: Islamification of their city. First, for context: In 2023, Dearborn became the first Arab (Muslim) majority in the U.S (Conversation). In November this year, the city reelected Abdullah Hammoud as their mayor (WDET). Prior to that—in September—the mayor publicly told a Christian minister that he was “not welcome here” (Fox News). Dearborn residents and Michiganders more generally have—understandably—realized, to put it mildly, they have a problem. On Tuesday a group marched behind a banner of “Americans Against Islamification” (X). Andy Ngo with more footage: (Ngo). Elite media outlets—no surprise—framed the protestors as anti-Islam: A pair of dueling demonstrations unfolded along Schaefer Road and Michigan Avenue on Tuesday, Nov. 18, as anti-Islam activists and pro-Muslim counter-protesters clashed in front of a heavy police presence before moving toward Dearborn City Hall for the evening council meeting (MLive).

Dearborn Mayor Dismissive of Complaints Over High-Decibel Call to Prayer
One resident recorded the call to prayer at over 70 decibels for 30 consecutive days. Fox News: Mayor Abdullah Hammoud responded to noise complaints about a mosque’s call to prayer, saying it’s “not an issue.” Hammoud discussed the concern on the Nov. 3 episode of the “Not From Here” podcast. Local Dearborn citizens have complained in recent months that a nearby mosque has been broadcasting the call to prayer on loudspeakers multiple times a day, beginning as early as 5:30 a.m. “I would tell you is, you know, those complaining about the call to prayer, I mean it’s a very, very few, you still want to respect the wishes and, if you have a serious concern, I have to uphold the law across all boards,” Hammoud said. “But we’ve done decibel readings at these mosques, all within threshold, all within legal limit. And so for me, it’s not an issue.” … Dearborn resident Andrea Unger, who has lived in the city for 40 years, told Fox News Digital last month that she had recorded the call to prayer for 30 consecutive days and found it consistently exceeded 70 decibels. She said she raised concerns with the police department and city council for the past two years, but the problem continued. She added that some of her neighbors were hesitant to speak out, fearing they would be labeled anti-Muslim (Fox News).

Joel Berry of Babylon Bee Raises Alarm Over Radical Islam in US
Berry served with the U.S. Marines in Iraq and was deployed to Fallujah (JFeed). He spoke up after seeing recent developments in Dearborn: Me and thousands of other young men stepped up to fight radical Islam in the Middle East on the claim that “You fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them over here.” And while we fought overseas, while my brothers bled and died for that claim, our government was importing radical Muslims to Michigan, Texas, Missouri, thousands of radical mosques going up around the country, all preaching death to the country we love and fought for, the country my brothers died for. The country their wives gave up their husbands for. And now, we have to fight them over here too. I don’t think people realize how betrayed we feel, how enraged we are (Berry).
