Hi, it’s
Tammy Baldwin, U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.
I’m reaching out today because I want to tell you why I’m proud to support
Chris Pappas in his campaign to represent New Hampshire in the U.S.
Senate.
[ [link removed] ]But first I have to ask: Will you help Chris keep this critical blue
Senate seat by making a contribution today?
When I became the first openly gay Senator elected in our nation’s
history, I understood that I needed to use this extraordinary opportunity
to make a difference in people’s lives.
And I know that’s exactly why Chris Pappas is running. If elected he’d
make history as the first out gay man to serve in the Senate. But more
importantly Chris is a fighter who’s working to ensure that everyone – no
matter who they are or who they love – has the freedom and opportunity to
thrive, whether that means owning a home, starting a family, opening a
small business, or anything else in between.
In Congress Chris has taken on Big Pharma to lower the cost of
prescription drugs, fought for tax cuts for working families and small
businesses, and cracked down on predatory companies.
But he’s in the toughest race of his life. Just like my home state of
Wisconsin, New Hampshire is a purple state. Last year I was reelected to
the Senate by a margin of less than 1%.
New Hampshire has a history of close races, too. In 2016 Democrats won the
NH Senate race by just 1,017 votes. And in a small state like New
Hampshire, a handful of votes could really make the difference. You can
bet that national Republicans and their billionaire backers are prepared
to spend millions to flip New Hampshire red.
[ [link removed] ]That’s why I’m all in for Chris. If Democrats are going to have a shot
at flipping the Senate, we must win in New Hampshire. Will you join me by

Chris Pappas is a fighter for working families. He’s never backed down
from a tough fight. And he’s exactly who we need serving in the U.S.
Senate.
But this race will be one of the most competitive in the country. It’s
going to take a strong, people-powered movement to stand up against
