A new poll just revealed something heartbreaking about our state: a quarter of Florida residents are considering leaving Florida altogether.

And honestly? I understand why.

According to this report, 42% of Floridians no longer believe the “American Dream” is possible here — because everything has gotten too expensive to keep up.

• 90% are worried about inflation.
• 80% are worried about housing affordability.
• 43% are living paycheck-to-paycheck.
• Fewer than half have even three months of emergency savings.

This is what decades of Republican leadership — and Hillary Cassel siding with the GOP when it suited her — has done to our families. They've made Florida unaffordable and told us to simply “deal with it.”

But no one should ever have to choose between Florida and affordability. Not one family.

I’m running for the Florida House because our state deserves leaders who actually fight to lower costs, protect working families, and build communities where people can plant roots instead of being pushed out.

This is personal to me. My family — like so many others — is deeply invested in Florida’s future. I don’t want our kids growing up in a state where the dream feels out of reach.
