Hi friend, it's Marc Elias.
How did I beat Donald Trump 64 times in court after the 2020 elections? Simple: We fought hard to unravel his web of lies again and again and again.
But Trump won't stop lying or doing just about everything imaginable to threaten our democracy, so I have an important question to ask you:
Should we keep challenging Trump in court?
Let's face it, team: Donald Trump lies with breathtaking frequency.
He lied about the 2020 election. He lied about lowering costs. Now, analysts say his administration is "lying brazenly" in open court -- and unless we hold him accountable, he could get away with it.
I've already taken Trump to court on behalf of the DSCC -- multiple times -- and I'm ready to do it again to defend our democracy. But unlike Trump, I won't lie to you: Beating the president of the United States in a courtroom is difficult, and the next time I step forward to make our case, I want to do it knowing millions of Democrats are right there with me.
That's why I’m asking you to confirm that you're in this fight, too. We can't afford to lose, and we can't afford to wait, so please answer now:
Should we keep challenging Trump in court?
Thank you. Together, I know we'll succeed.
Marc Elias
