Urge your state Senator to oppose S.B.912!
Friend –
The Pennsylvania State Senate is currently considering a bill that would significantly expand state surveillance of people across our commonwealth. And we need your help to stop it. <[link removed]>
Senate Bill 912 would change the existing law to mandate that authorities collect DNA from anyone who is simply arrested – even from juveniles – completely undermining the presumption of innocence and our right to privacy.

DNA is not the same as a fingerprint. It contains your genetic code, which reveals the most intimate, private information about you and your family. It is not the kind of data the government should loosely compile and indefinitely store.
And since Black and brown people are unjustly over-policed, mass DNA collection will put communities of color under heightened genetic surveillance.
Will you contact your state Senator and urge them to oppose SB 912? <[link removed]>
Thank you, as always, for taking action to protect our liberties.
