Earlier this month, we wrapped up our petition drive to get Bushra on the ballot for the March primary—and thanks to supporters like you, Bushra's name is officially on the ballot.
But what comes next? We’re stomping on the gas.
Now we’re shifting into high gear — knocking doors, launching digital ads, restocking the office, and fueling up for a marathon of debates and meet-and-greets across IL-09.
Bushra’s already participated in over 190 meet and greets—at high schools, colleges, coffee shops, retirement homes, and even people’s garages—and we’re planning more than triple that between now and Election Day. That’s what grassroot campaigns look like: all gas, no brakes.
