This is something I had to share with you tonight.

Earlier today, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visited the White House to meet with President Trump.

While there, they took questions from the press including one about the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi -- which American intelligence believes was done with MBS’ approval.

Trump dismissed the question. He said "things happen" and that “A lot of people didn’t like that gentleman [Khashoggi] that you’re talking about." He said he doesn’t hold him responsible for the gruesome murder.

So let me say this:

During my time on Trump's National Security Council, I reviewed a lot of calls between Trump and foreign leaders.

One of, of course, was the call with President Zelenskyy. Another was with Trump and Mohammed bin Salman.

The American people and the Khashoggi family deserve to know what was said on that call.

You will be shocked.
