In 2022, I was the first woman ever elected as governor of my state. With attacks on reproductive rights and the cost of living for working families at a high, I’m honored to serve as Chair of the DGA’s Women Governors Fund to continue building our bench of women Dem govs.

This month, we made history in New Jersey and Virginia by electing Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger! The American people turned out in state after state to overwhelmingly reject Donald Trump’s agenda. Voters proved that they want strong Democratic leaders who will work to address problems everyday Americans are facing – and that’s Abigail and Mikie. With them joining our ranks, we now have 10 Democratic women governors – the most in history!
