Dear John,

You may have already heard the news that I’m joining the MCV team, but I wanted to reach out and introduce myself.

I’m Keith , the guy from News Center Maine with the skinny suits 👋👋👋. For the last 20 years, I’ve worked in television as a meteorologist, with much of my career spent right here in Maine.

My love for the weather and talking to people is what propelled my career in journalism and in meteorology. And, it’s also what has brought me to MCV.

As a broadcast meteorologist, I’ve been fortunate enough to talk with Mainers about the weather and on issues like climate, the environment, and more. What I’ve realized is that not everyone cares about climate, clean energy, or conservation for the same reasons, but that we can still be on the same team.

As the Director of Environment & Science Communications , I’ll get to keep having these conversations with Mainers around the state, engaging and informing people on climate, clean energy, and environmental protections and inspiring them to take meaningful civic action.

Together, we’ll build the coalition for a better, more sustainable, and more equitable future for Maine.

You can expect to keep hearing from me, especially as we head into the start of the legislative session. But, for now, hello and thank you for welcoming me to the MCV community with such enthusiasm.
