During the week of Giving Tuesday, Saturday, November 29th – Sunday December 7th, we need volunteers to sign up for the People’s World Phonathon. During that week, we’ll be speaking with readers encouraging them to donate to the PW.

Phonathons are not just an attempt to get donations, but allow us to connect with our audience. Our readers have a lot to say about the issues and they appreciate the effort we put into listening to them and hearing their feedback.

This year’s goal is $200,000. It’s been a big job, but with the help of our readers and supporters People's World has raised over $180,000 — and we couldn’t be prouder! As of today, we’re only $19,000 away from reaching our goal.

People’s World remains a voice for progressive change and socialism. Because we are run and supported by our readers (not corporations), our fundraising drives are essential. Keeping People’s World alive as an independent voice for working-class people is necessary always, but especially in a time where attacks on free speech are rampant and corporate-run news networks repress working-class stories and perspectives daily.
