Dear John,
At Family Policy Alliance, we believe in defending the human dignity of every child and protecting the vulnerable among us. Today, I want to invite you to stand with us and our friends at Americans United for Life (AUL) in a crucial effort to protect women from the dangers caused by the widespread, unregulated distribution of chemical abortion drugs in our nation’s health care system.
AUL has launched a petition urging the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and our federal lawmakers to stop the expansion of chemical-abortion efforts that put the lives of women and the preborn at risk and bypass basic safeguards. They are calling for leaders to restore the protections the FDA removed and to end the policies that now allow abortion-inducing drugs to be distributed in ways that hide the harm they cause — to the women and to the children whose lives are ended.
When children’s lives are at stake and women’s health is treated as an afterthought, we must act. Now is the moment to make our voices heard and to call for accountability from the FDA and our federal leaders. I urge you to read the petition, sign it, and then share it with your friends, your church, and others.
