Voters overwhelmingly backed Prop 50, approving a new congressional map with five safe blue seats to counter the five safe red seats Republicans created in Texas.

But California isn’t the only one playing offense, John.

Virginia Democrats are joining the fight by advancing a similar proposal that could add new Democratic seats to Congress and directly counter Trump’s plan to rig the future of Congress.
