We have some exciting news to share: After more than a decade as Open Philanthropy, we are now Coefficient Giving — a name that better reflects our role as a philanthropic funder and advisor working with many donors.
What is changing? As well as our new name, we’ve launched a new website, with updated branding and a clearer presentation of our work. And our existing programs are becoming multi-donor funds that philanthropists can join to support specific cause areas. These build on the two major pooled funds we launched recently — the $100m Lead Exposure Action Fund and the $120m Abundance and Growth Fund — as we expand our model to a broader range of partners.
What’s staying the same? Our mission — to help others as much as we can with the resources available — as well as the principles that drive our day-to-day work. For current grantees: nothing changes about our existing agreements or relationships.
