Last quarter she raised just $100,000 (5 times less than us), which would be a competitive haul in a county dog catcher race—not so much for a sitting member of Congress. And when labor leader, public servant, and Democrat Trisha Calvarese ran against her in 2024, our campaign had the best Democratic performance ever in this district and outperformed Kamala Harris by six points. These are the ingredients for a political miracle—but opportunities like this don’t come around often, and they don’t last long.
