Hi Peter Gammons here.

I’m not known for politics, but I know an important race and a great team when I see one. For nearly 50 years, I’ve written about baseball for outlets like The Boston Globe, Sports Illustrated, The Athletic, and ESPN. I’ve been known for having a keen eye on who to look out for, who has amazing potential, and who has the spirit to take their team to victory.

That’s why I believe in Joe Kennedy and why I’m supporting him to be a US Senator. He represents a fresh arm at the plate — a new, young, bold leader who understands that we need a new “normal” because we can’t afford the same kind of leaders we’ve had for decades.

In recent years, we’ve seen that politics and sports aren’t as separate as we think they are. Sports can be a vehicle for activism and creating positive change in the world. And that is why I’m so excited to invite you to an event featuring yours truly, Joe Kennedy, and the amazing Molly Knight. We’re going to be discussing Joe’s plan for the future and some baseball talk too! Pitch in any amount to RSVP for our event now (even if it’s just $1!) — a Zoom link will be sent to you after you RSVP →

I am excited for this race to be a home run for Joe. He’s spent his career advocating for affordable healthcare, racial justice, campaign finance reform, and a greener, cleaner climate. He is the kind of leader that Massachusetts needs, and I’m excited to be part of his team.

And, of course, baseball is my favorite thing to talk about, so I’m excited to share that passion with you. I know Molly and I are incredibly excited to be talking with Joe, and we would love to see you there!

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you on Thursday,

— Peter Gammons
