John, in this moment of widespread crisis, it’s important to reclaim love as a force for justice.

We must remember that the greatest nonviolent social movements in history were born out of adversity and rooted in the ethics of love. This time is no exception.

That’s why we’re excited to announce our next webinar co-hosted with Auburn Seminary to hear from Valarie Kaur, founder of The Revolutionary Love Project.

We will discuss the powerful potential of love: not as a soft feeling, but as a form of sweet labor: fierce, bloody, imperfect, and life giving – a choice we make over and over again. Valarie will share why this time of pain and crisis is also a chance to birth the America we dream, where no person is disposable.

These haven’t been easy times.

Our country is grappling with the consequences of a mishandled pandemic, this administration’s bigoted agenda, police violence, and deep racial inequality, among other troubling issues. When the challenges seem insurmountable like they may look right now, it’s critical we remember the power of love in resistance.

There are still spots open for this powerful discussion tomorrow and we hope you have the time to learn about Valarie’s teachings.
