Hello, True Texans!
There are two things Texans are passionate about this election cycle: property taxes and immigration, specifically the Islamization of Texas.
Well, right on cue, this week Abbott released his usual pre-campaign rhetoric about all he will accomplish if we re-elect him. This time he's really going to do something about property taxes.
Also this week, we hosted another meeting on the Islamization of Texas -- this time smack dab in the epicenter for EPIC (East Plano Islamic Center) City, now renamed to The Meadows. The room was packed beyond capacity 30 minutes before the meeting even started, folks were crowded in the hallway, and sadly many had to give up and go home.
Congrats to our Collin County volunteers for pulling off a meeting that drew 6xs more attendees than usual! No small task!
If you haven't had a chance to study this issue with us yet, never fear. There are still a few more locations that will feature this same presentation, plus it will be addressed at our conference on Jan 24. Tickets aren't on sale yet, but mark your calendar. It will be in Spring, Texas -- make plans to travel as needed.
For now, you need to take action. Please watch for a Fran's Friday Email (except it may not be a Friday) for a great step you can take from your own home. H1B visas are a major part of the Islamization and immigration problem, and your input has been requested. You should also pay attention when we offer the next meeting on "How Texans Lose Jobs To H1B Visas" and get there!
3 Things Not To Miss Pay attention! Time is ticking away!
We do not host meetings in December, so November is your last chance in 2025 to attend a local satellite. Not only that, those last remaining meetings all happen this week! The list of opportunities is later in this email.
The deadline to apply for a True Texas scholarship is rapidly approaching! Just 2 weeks left. Every year, just before Thanksgiving, we have maybe one or two applications submitted and I think, "Wow -- no competition for these kids!" But then during the Thanksgiving break, I'll end up with about a dozen for us to choose from. Even so, your chances of winning are pretty good -- and all entries, win or lose, get tickets to our Christmas party. In other words, get those students to give it a go!
Free youth training happens Saturday! Fran and I are traveling to Central Texas this next weekend to not only teach our Certified True Texan Youth classes, but to record them! We'd really prefer to do it with an audience! You know what recording means, right? It means we don't have plans to offer this again anytime soon in person. Get there while you can! We think we do pretty well at not being boring as the students learn How To Be An Activist, Constitution Bootcamp, Campaigns & Elections, and True Texas Liberty (all the -isms like capitalism, socialism, and communism). Plus they get a free t-shirt at the end. Siblings and parents are welcome to attend with the teens. Sign up here.
Can you help? We are trying to add 40newmonthlydonors before the end of the year. You'd think with the 1000s of Texans who utilize our voting recommendations, training opportunities, speakers, meetings, and social events, it wouldn't be hard to find 40 people willing to chip in $35/month. (That's the average, but we'll take anything!). Well... think again! Fran and I are constantly having to beat the bushes, and it distracts from the real work of saving Texas that we are meant to do. Come on, already! What about you?
Remember... everyone who sets up a recurring donation of at least $25/month gets a free t-shirt!

Remember, iron sharpens iron. We need each other, and I'm so glad you're part of what we've got going on. This week someone saw my TTP t-shirt:
and remarked that diamonds are actually better at sharpening. I replied, "But this is in scripture." He was satisfied with that response! Let's embrace the wisdom of King Solomon found in Proverbs 27:17 and not miss the opportunity to become better by being together.
For the love of Texas, Julie McCarty, CEO
