As a doctor, I've seen this before.

I often have to tell patients news they don't want to hear -- and sometimes, a patient will deny that they are sick or that they need surgery. A second or third opinion won't even do the trick.

But sometimes a family intervention can help.

With President Trump and the White House now openly attacking doctors, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, I fear that this president is in full-blown denial about how he's made the COVID-19 pandemic worse.

It's never mattered more for Trump's political family -- leaders in the Republican Party like Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell -- to stop this madness before it is too late. America's health is at stake, and we need to make sure Dr. Fauci remains on the job.

More than 200,000 Americans are projected to be dead by Election Day.
