Throughout my career, I’ve fought to protect civil rights, pursue equal justice under the law and organize an empowered workforce for a more equitable future. And that’s exactly what the MLK Conference is all about: Working people coming together to build an economy and society that works for everyone and ensures that all workers, no matter who they are, can live a life of dignity and respect. We deserve a just society where economic and racial justice go hand in hand—because the two cannot be separated.
At the conference, you’ll hear from speakers who will inspire you to action. You’ll have the opportunity to meet labor and civil rights activists who care deeply about the work you do. You’ll take workshops that will sharpen your skills and get you ready for the fights ahead. (And you’ll experience some great musicians and performers, too.)
I hope you’ll meet me at the 2026 MLK Conference in Baltimore on Jan. 15. Register now to make sure you get a spot.
In solidarity,
Alex
