'PAP must set the tone for politics': PM Lawrence Wong reflects on GE2025 at the PAP Convention

During the Party Convention (9 Nov), Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared his reflections on GE2025.
He reiterated the need for PAP to set the tone for politics by rejecting populist promises or racially tinged appeals.
“Each time we call out bad behaviour, some nay-sayers will accuse the PAP of being overbearing or bullying. So, speaking up carries some political cost. The PAP must keep Singapore exceptional in this increasingly fractured world, said Chairman Desmond Lee.
