Please, let me explain:

I'm running to be the next Governor of New York because the status quo is broken, people are hurting, and New York deserves better leadership —leadership that comes with a vision, is bold, decisive and transformational.

There was a recent report that 1 in 4 New Yorkers can’t afford basic necessities, from housing and healthcare, to food.

And that’s why I am in this race.

Together we can build a New York where: 

• Every family has access to affordable child care.

• First time home buyers and renters get real assistance. 

• Our healthcare system puts people over profit.

• Big corporations pay their fair share.  

This is what strong and transformational leadership looks like, one that allows New Yorkers to afford to live and grow their families here, without compromising on that.

And it will require a lot to take our state back to where it belongs.  

This race won’t be easy. It’s going to take a lot of resources. And I plan to run a campaign powered by New Yorkers. I refuse to bend the knee for corporate PACs, lobbyists, or special interests groups’ money.
