Honoring Our Veterans

“Our veterans bravely wore the uniform of the United States in defense of our freedom,” President Bush said. “They answered the call of duty and have been a force for good in the world. Laura and I join our fellow citizens in thanking our vets and their families who stand beside them. God bless you all.”

Over the weekend, President Bush welcomed veterans for an annual bike ride at Prairie Chapel Ranch to celebrate Veterans Day and encourage the veteran community through sport.

At the Bush Center, we are committed to honoring veterans and their families for their service through meaningful programs that support veterans in making successful transitions to civilian life. Check-In, a program created by the Bush Institute’s Veteran Wellness Alliance, connects veterans, service members, families, caregivers, and survivors to no-cost mental and brain health care.
