Ken Paxton is at it again, and the future of Texas is on the line.
For generations, the wonderful diversity of our state—home to the country’s second largest Latino population, the second largest immigrant population, and the second largest number of young Americans—has been our greatest strength. Over a third of Texans speak a language other than English at home.
But Ken Paxton, the state’s Attorney General, is demonizing these very communities in a desperate attempt to pander to his political allies.
Instead of doing anything to help Texans, Paxton is going after nonprofits with baseless accusations of illegal activity, and targeting a Harris County program that offers assistance to undocumented immigrants, calling it “evil and wicked.”
Instead of upholding his duty to safeguard the freedoms of all Texans, Paxton is filing stunt lawsuits trying to intimidate and stir up fear among those of us working every day to help working Texans. This is where Ground Game Texas steps in.
