It’s official: Representative Adelita Grijalva has finally been sworn in
to Congress – nearly two months after voters in Arizona elected her to
serve.

Why the delay? Speaker Mike Johnson refused to seat her, knowing her
arrival would tip the balance in favor of a bipartisan discharge petition
to force a vote demanding the release of the full Epstein investigative
files. That’s how fragile his majority has become – and how desperate he’s
been to cling to it.

But today, Rep. Grijalva took the oath of office and is ready as she has
been for nearly two months to do the job voters sent her to Washington to
do: fight for accountability, transparency, and justice.
