I am the only Democrat in this race who has never flip-flopped on Social Security.

Rep. Derek Kilmer was the only Democrat in Washington state to join Republicans in signing onto a letter calling for Mitt Romney’s TRUST Act. Social Security Works described this plan as a “a plot to gut Social Security behind closed doors.”

I will NEVER join with Republicans to advocate for cuts to our social safety net programs. A pandemic is the time to EXPAND these programs, not cut them.
