John,

There are 22 million Americans who rely on the ACA tax credits to afford their health care — yet no one seems to be willing to fight for them.

Not Republican Maria Salazar, who represents a district with the highest Affordable Care Act enrollment in the entire country. Not the out-of-touch politicians who seem to care more about going home for Thanksgiving than listening to their constituents who want someone to fight for them.

Congress is broken. We need someone who won’t just be another wishy-washy politician and will actually fight for our community.

That’s why I’m running.

We’re all tired of ineffective politicians who have spent years in office but never seem to fight for us. When I’m elected to Congress, I will tackle the issues we’re facing head on.

That starts with lowering health care costs. I’ll work to undo the cuts made to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security and, of course, restore the ACA credits that make healthcare possible for so many Miami families.

And I won’t just work to undo the damage. I’ll fight for something better.

I’ll make sure we’re building more housing, making child care affordable, raising wages, and strengthening the middle class. And, I’ll pass legislation that cuts taxes for those who care for their elderly parents.

We can have real representation in Congress, John. We just have to fight for it.
